National Nursing Week + FREE Printable Yard Signs and More!

Today is National Nurses Day, which kicks off National Nursing Week which is always starts on May 6th and ends on Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12th.  As the frontline of a world health crisis, nursing professionals need our support now more than ever. Their skill and commitment have never been more apparent than it is now to people across the world, these individuals make a lifesaving difference every day.

In honor of National Nursing Week, we are so excited to share with you 5 {social distancing approved} ways you can show love and appreciation to the nurses making a difference in your life and our world!

  1. Show your heartfelt appreciation and boost morale by placing our FREE Printable Yard + Window Signs in the yard of a healthcare hero you know OR simply by showing support in your own yard or window!
  2. Leave a gift basket on the porch of a Nurse who is making a difference complete with our FREE printable gift tag.  Items could include snacks, self-care products, and gift cards.  Think gift cards they can use now and down the road such as local restaurants, massage + spa + salon, travel, or grocery!
  3. Record a video of why you appreciate them and why they’re making a difference + important, share via email, or post on social media for everyone to see!
  4. Ask them what you can do to make their life easier during this time – such as grocery pickup/shopping, delivering goods such as salt for water softeners, mowing their lawn while they’re away, supplying them with clean PPE, covering a payment on expenses such as childcare, or other random essential items they may be forgetting!
  5. Talk to them be that via phone, FaceTime, Zoom, etc. let them vent, cry, or just talk about something other than what is happening.  In a crisis that is consuming their world be the outlet they need, the cheerleader to keep them going, or the sunshine in their life to brighten their days!
