Who loves Wild Kratts®?!
It’s time to get wild and activate creature power at the new Sloan Museum Wild Kratts® Creature Power® exhibit!
Sloan is only the fourth space in the nation to host Wild Kratts® Creature Power®, so mark your calendars for some fun before January 20, 2020!
Kiddos get to put on a Power Suit and explore four regions of the world to defeat the villains who are endangering animals. Make sure to stop and grab a clue sheet to guide you through the exhibit.
Begin your adventure in the Australian Outback where your children can learn about cheetah powers, the platypus, and the laughing kookaburra.
Then trek to Antarctica and hop the icebergs like a penguin.
Head over to the rainforest and swing like a monkey!
Finally, explore our own backyard of the Midwest and listen to a chorus of sounds while eating like a frog.
Here are a few things to know before you go:
Grab a power suit and a checklist under the Tortuga.
We wandered for a bit at the beginning not really knowing what to do, but once we got the focus for our mission, we enjoyed the exhibit much more! I noticed other families wandering as well and once I helped direct them to the “mission” they were having more fun.
Read the clues and the animal information.
My 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old nephew got more engaged as I read the info. I promised they could explore and run about after we accomplished our mission!
There are some cute little play areas for the tiny tots.
They won’t need a power suit or checklist, but there are some fun areas in each of the regions for them to explore and play.
Overall, this exhibit is probably best suited for PreK-5 learning and exploring, but your littlest adventurers will find some fun as well.
Don’t forget to stop at the gift shop and grab a creature gift on the way out.
