Travel Tuesday :: WhoaZone at Heron Beach – Holly, MI

There are a lot of great reasons to live in the mitten state but we here at Mid-Michigan Moms unanimously agree that one of the very best parts is the ability to drive to so many awesome locations for both day trips and extended vacations.
We are thrilled to introduce our newest feature to the site, Travel Tuesday, a weekly guide to our favorite places for you to enjoy with your family throughout the year!

First up on Travel Tuesday located in the popular Holly Recreation Area, is WhoaZone at Heron Beach, an on-water obstacle course that provides hours of high-energy, family fun for all ages. Made up of giant slides, towers, trampolines, ramps, wiggle bridges, and other thrilling play features. WhoaZone offers guests the chance to bounce, slide, climb, jump, and splash all summer long!

The WhoaZone at Heron Beach offers a complete range of activities for people of all ages to ensure that every guest has an amazing experience. The newly expanded Splash Zone offers five different routes with four different challenge levels for capable swimmers ages 7 and up. Every guest, be it a first timer or a next-level expert, can easily find the perfect route to test their skill level. The WhoaZone also added a new Kid’s Splash Zone for children ages four and up. The Kid’s Splash Zone delivers thrills to even the youngest guests with safe, easy-to-navigate obstacles that still bring the fun! Back at the beach, an expanded Snack Zone offers a large variety of food options, including entrees, snacks, ice cream, and beverages.

Group tickets, double-sessions, private events, and birthday parties are available for those looking for a unique and fun way to celebrate their special day. The WhoaZone offers complete birthday party packages to fit all ages and budgets. With great food, goodies for all, and a dedicated picnic area, you’ll be the parent all kids love!
