Families who visit Grand Hotel in July and August can take advantage of special pricing during Family Added Value Days: stay three nights, get the fourth night free or stay two nights, get the third night half off. Plus, there is no charge for children 17 and under when staying in the same room with their parents. Kids can golf free on The Jewel (parents golf for half price), there are complimentary children’s programs and outdoor movies in the Tea Garden on August 18-22.

Grand Hotel offers many other activities for kids of all ages to enjoy including swimming in the Esther Williams Swimming Pool, Afternoon Tea in the Parlor, croquet and bocci in the Tea Garden, Pickleball, FootGolf or a visit to Sadie’s Ice Cream Parlor. Explore Mackinac Island by bicycle or horse-drawn carriage, hike, visit historic Fort Mackinac or Fort Holmes, visit the unique shops downtown or simply relax in a rocking chair on the world’s longest porch overlooking the Straits of Mackinac and the Mackinac Bridge.

Families will also appreciate the variety of dining options that Grand Hotel has to offer. A full breakfast and dinner daily are included with the purchase of every Family Added Value Days package. Start the day with breakfast in the Main Dining Room, featuring a full menu and buffet to suit every taste. For lunch, visit The Gate House, Sushi Grand or experience Grand Hotel’s legendary Grand Luncheon Buffet. Dress up for dinner in the Main Dining Room or enjoy a more casual dinner at The Jockey Club at the Grand Stand.
