March 3rd – It’s that time of the month! You guessed it! Head to your local Home Depot for the FREE Kids Workshop from 9am until 12pm! This month your child(ren) will be building a Periscope! be sure to register ahead of time to ensure that your Store has enough supplies. We hope to see you there!
March 3rd – Like we need an excuse to go to Target, right?! However, if you do, we’ve got the perfect one! Target is helping to celebrate Reading Month and Dr. Seuss‘s birthday with Hats off to Reading 2018! From 10am until 1pm, you can join us for storytime, activities and freebies! Check your local Target for more information. And we hope to see you there!
March 3rd and March 4th – Presented by the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce, join us this weekend for the Community Expo at Fenton High School! Admission is FREE and the FUN will take place from 10am until 5pm on Saturday and 11am until 4pm on Sunday! We hope to see you there!
March 3rd – Where are my Harry Potter fans? today, from 10am until 7:30pm at King’s Court Castle in Lake Orion, you can be a part of Hogwarts Homecoming! Tickets are $22 and will get you access to wizarding “classes” such as potions, charms, care of magical creatures and so much more!
March 3rd – Head over to your closest Michael’s Store today for their MAKEbreak event! From 1pm until 3pm today, your child(ren) can make Cute Clay Pots. You supply the terra cotta pot and everything else is provided. We hope to see you there!
March 3rd – Does your teen need out of the house today? Take them to Butman-Fish Library today at 2pm for Libraries are for Creating! Teen Coding Program. They will have the opportunity to use the library’s new Chromebooks while having fund creating a coding project!
March 3rd – Has your child(ren) ever considered detective work? Now is their chance! Swartz Creek-Perkins Library is hosting the Top Secret Ultimate Detective Challenge today from 2pm until 3pm. Put your super sleuth skills (that’s a tongue twister) to work to solve mysteries! This is a great activity for kids ages 8 and up. We hope to see you here!
March 3rd – Looking for something fun to do with the family tonight? At an affordable cost of $1.50 per person, come out to For-Mar Nature Preserve tonight for the Full Moon Hike from 6pm until 7:30pm. Take a hike under the natural glow of the full moon and experience what the animals at For-Mar see at night!
March 5th – Join us today at Grand Blanc-McFarlen Library for Story Time with Miss Katie. Children ages 0 – 2 can come from 10am until 11am and then children ages 3 – 5 from 11am until 12pm. There will be fun stories and more! We hope to see you here!
March 10th – Did someone say Maple Syrup? Known as Michigan’s “liquid gold”, we invite you to come out today from 10am until 1pm at Robert Williams Nature & Historical Learning Center in Davison for the 1st Annual Maple Syrup Festival! There will be hikes, crafts, demonstrations and more! Not to mention a Food Truck serving up pancakes and other breakfast items! Cost is $5 per person (this does not include the cost of food from the Food Truck). We hope to see you there!
March 10th – Head to Fenton today from 11am until 4pm for Gerych’s Annual Photos with the Easter Bunny! Photo packages are available. We hope to run into you here!
March 10th – Come out to the Hoyt Library today at 1pm and join Irish dancers from Carolanne Killmer’s School of Dance as they perform a sampling of traditional Irish dances just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! We hope to see you here!
March 10th – Catch your breath after watching the Irish dancers and stick around Hoyt Library for March Movie Time! Join us at 2pm for a timeless Disney classic, Dumbo. Recommended for children ages 6 and younger with an adult.
March 10th – March is known as reading month so it seems fitting we would celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday at Butman-Fish Library today at 2pm! There will be activities and cake (of course)! Children under the age of 7 much have adult supervision. We hope to see you here as we celebrate of one of our favorites!
March 10th – See, today isn’t just about the kiddos! Adults can have fun, too! Head over to the Davison Farmers Market today from 3pm until 4pm for this FREE adult class – Make Your Own Luck! Learn to make your own paper shamrock while snacking on some amazing Market finds (3 D’s Kettle Corn, Knob Hill Meats, Pop’s Brittle and Nana’s and Papa’s Chocolates). We hope to see you here!
March 10th – Not to be outdone by the Daddy’s and the Daughter’s at Valentine’s Day, we invite you to join us tonight from 6pm until 8pm at the Waterford Recreation Center for the St. Patrick’s Mother Son Dance! Bring your best dressed little men out and dance to the sounds of DJ Marky Mark while enjoying snacks and fun! We hope to see you there!
March 14th – Join us today at 1pm for Toddler Playgroup at Wickes Library. Children ages 18 months to 3 years old are invited to this hour of playtime. A stimulating environment filled with books, toys and positive library memories! We hope to see you and your tots there!
March 15th – OMG! Head over to the Genesee Valley Center Library today from 4:30pm unti l5:30pm for the LOL Emoji Challenge! Your child(ren) ages 7 and up can celebrate their favorite emoji’s, solve puzzles, make crafts and play games! Not to mention meeting new friends and maybe a new BFF! This is going to be so much! March 16th – Calling all adults! Kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend with the St Paddy’s 1/2K Draft Dash and Beer Fest. Come down tonight to the Flint Farmers Market from 5:45pm until 10pm. Shenanigans will kick off with the ever so dramatic 1/2K Draft Dash (that’s 1,640 feet of running). Make it to the finish line and you’ll be rewarded with an ice cold beer and early entry into the Beer Fest. There will beers to sample, food vendors and Irish entertainment to fill our evening. We hope to see you there!
March 16th – Mother’s grab your son’s and come on down to Southern Lakes Park & Recreation Center for the SLPR Mother-Son Dance tonight from 6pm until 8pm! Enjoy a night out with the little men in your life with refreshments, dancing and memories to last a lifetime! This is sure to be a fun time, but be sure to register early! We hope to see you there!
March 16th – Join Winnie the Pooh as he hums his way through Hundred Acre Woods tonight from 7pm until 8:30pm with Honey Pot of Pooh Stories at Bower Theater in Flint. Cost is $10 per person and recommended for ages 3 and up. We hope to see you and your family here!
March 16th – I’m sure you’ve seen that it is “Girl Scout Cookie Time” again! You know what that means? It is also time for the 3rd Annual Girl Scout Cookies & Wine Tasting at Cork on Saginaw. Join us tonight from 7pm until 9pm and learn which wine pairs perfectly with which Girl Scout Cookie! Cost is $25 per person and includes wine and cookie samples. There will also be a silent auction and cookies for sale. Grab a date (ages 21 and up) and come on out! We hope to see you there!
March 17th – Head over to Butman-Fish Library today for Lego Club! Children ages 7 to 12 are invited to create their own masterpieces at Lego Club. We hope to see you there!
March 17th – Join us today from 2pm until 5pm for the 38th Annual Pot O’ Gold 4 mile run and walk in downtown Flint. There is a 1/4 mile Little Blarney Kids Run, too! Every finisher receives a medal! We hope to see you down on the bricks!
March 19th – Join us today at Montrose-Jennings Library from 10:30am until 11:30am for Story Time with Miss Sandy! There will be fun stories, songs and more! We hope to see you and your littles there!
March 20th – What an amazing area we live in to offer so many resources! The Genesee County Health Department will be at the Clio Library today from 10:30am until 12:30pm answering all of your health insurance questions! Not sure what options are available or how to apply? Outreach & Enrollment staff will be on hand to answer your questions and help you find what you are looking for!
March 21st – Head out to McCurdy Park Community Center in Corunna tonight with the little men in your life for the 2018 Mother-Son Dance! From 6pm until 8pm, you will enjoy pizza, drinks, dancing and memories! Cost is $20 per couple.
March 24th – There is something Eggciting happening in Linden today! From 8:30am until 12pm, come out to Hyatt Elementary for the Eggciting Easter Event in Linden! Cost is $7 per person and is all inclusive. There will be breakfast, bounce houses, Easter Egg hunts, face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny and so much more! We cannot wait to see you here!
March 24th – Head to Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth from 9am until 10am today for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! Children will have the opportunity to visit the Easter Bunny, enjoy a magic show and will receive a small gift. Cost is $15 per person and reservations are required. We hope to see you there!
March 24th – Join us today at the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum in Saginaw for an Indoor Tooth-Friendly Egg Hunt! From 9:30am until 4pm, children will have a chance to hunt the exhibits for plastic eggs. This is sure to be an eggceptional time!
March 24th – Corunna Parks & Recreation is hosting Easter Market and Pictures with the Easter Bunny today from 10am until 4pm! Come on out! We hope to see you there!
March 24th – Here comes Peter Cottontail! Hop on in to The Bunny Lunch at Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth today from 11am until 12:30pm. Cost is $20 per person and includes lunch with the Easter Bunny, a magic show, pictures, balloon animals and so much more! Reservations are required, so be sure to call soon!
March 26th – Moms, do you need a night out with your spouse/significant other? Or maybe a girls night on the town? It may be Monday, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a Funday! Come to Frankenmuth tonight from 5pm until 7pm for the annual Oberon Release Party. Michigan on Main Bar and Grill (inside the Bavarian Inn) will host the spring release of Oberon with specials, giveaways, prizes and more! Come on out and who knows? Maybe we’ll see you there!
March 27th – Calling all kids! Well, ages 5 to 12. Head over to Beecher-Vera B. Rison Library today from 6pm until 7pm for Kids’ Craft Club! Show your artistic side at this new club. Supplies provided. We hope to see you there!
March 28th – Do you need to find your zen before the madness that is Spring Break? Come out to Goodrich Library tonight from 6:30pm until 7:30pm for an hour of Yoga relaxation. Certified Yoga Instructor Katrina will lead you to your peaceful place on the mat and help you relax for an hour of “me time”
March 29th – This is going to be epic! I mean, how many of us started out as “fur moms“? I know I did! Bring your pup(s) tonight to the Davison Area Dog Park from 6pm until 7:30pm for the Dog Easter Egg Hunt! Eggs will be scattered throughout the dog park and your dog(s) will have a chance to sniff them out, including prize eggs for a chance to win big! Cost is $5 per dog and dogs must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older. We hope to see you and your 4-legged (and 2-legged) babes at the park!
March 30th – Head over to Butman-Fish Library this morning at 10:30am for Preschool Storytime with Miss Maureen. There will be stories, crafts, games and more! We hope to see you there!
March 31st – Hop over to Lake Callis in Davison for the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt today! From 1:30pm until 4pm, your child(ren) will have an opportunity to hunt these colorful eggs filled with candy, toys or prizes! The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance, so parents make sure you have your camera ready! Held rain or shine and be sure to bring your own Easter Egg Basket! Cost is $6 per child. We hope to see you here!
