Meet Katie, one of our newest team members! We’re thrilled to welcome her to our wonderful group of moms, and can’t wait for you to meet her!
——————————————————————————————–
Hi mamas, I’m Katie. I just moved back to Mid-Michigan this summer after spending the last 12 years in sunny, hot and humid, but oh-so-beautiful, Florida.
I’m married to my dreamy best friend, and we have a passionate four-year-old and a smiley five-month-old…both boys. This will be their first time experiencing a REAL winter since all my fellows were born and raised in Florida. I can’t wait to see what they think. {Wish them luck!}

I own a social media management business, and I am a proud {and sometimes overly exhausted} WAHM. When I am not working during the week, I love to go on adventures with other mom friends and their kiddos – parks, nature centers, museums, libraries and the never-disappointing…Target!

Our little family is excited to experience the whole #PureMichigan life this year as we look forward to more trips Up North, the UP and the Great Lakes. We can’t wait to check out ALL the surrounding farmer’s markets, orchards, wineries, and breweries this fall; and, I have never been one to say “no” to local coffee or tea shop. {Think: Lorelei Gilmore meets the cast of Downton Abbey…}

I consider myself pretty “crunchy,” as learning about {and applying} natural health and living is a passion of mine. {There is a batch of elderberry syrup simmering on the stove as I type!}. We will be starting our first micro garden in the spring, and we may even try our hands at bee-keeping. I enjoy trying new recipes and finding ways to convert not-so-healthy things into better options {gotta be sneaky at times with those toddlers, y’all!}. I believe that we can find great health from our food choices, but also understand that it’s fun to splurge at times. {Because… hello, cake.}
I am so excited to join the #MidMiMB team and to share my Michigan and “momming” experiences with y’all! Bear with me, that southern slang part of living in Florida might stick with me for a while…
