Meet Hannah, a Lapeer Area Mom!

Hey There! I’m Hannah, a stay at home mom. My daily hobbies include leaving my coffee in the microwave and forgetting to switch the laundry over. The craziness of my life happens in Lapeer!  I have lived in the Lapeer area my whole life and absolutely love the small town feel. We frequent the parks here often and get lots of use out of the walking trails, hello energy burner! With a husband and two little boys, ages two and three, I essentially live in a frat house. So the new puppy we recently got absolutely had to be a girl. Word of advice, don’t get a puppy while also potty training a toddler. It isn’t pleasant for anyone!

On the weekends, we enjoy hanging out with our families and friends playing games and wrangling children. When the weather is nice you can find us at my parents house splashing in their pond and enjoying the sun and sand. We love to end our summer nights with a bonfire complete with any yummy fire treat you can think of!  My husband is active in music at our church and I often find myself chasing kids around the sanctuary on any given evening while dad practices.

I met my husband in 2010; we were married in August of 2013 and added our first son 16 months later! It has been a whirlwind since then. I was just getting my feet wet in motherhood when at five months postpartum I found out we were pregnant AGAIN! That was one of the rougher times in my life, but by God’s grace we made it through. I can now say that I absolutely love having two kids so close together. Man, are they buds!

In addition to motherhood and being a wife, I enjoy coffee dates with friends, organizing my closets {odd, I know}, reading, and Leo’s Greek Salads. I love pinning things on Pinterest that I will never actually do, and keeping up with true crime podcasts- I am totally an “arm chair detective“.

So, to wrap this all up I am so excited to be part of this team to share stories, advice or encouragement for moms in the Mid-Mi area.

I love being a mom but I learned quickly doing motherhood by yourself is a lonely journey. So come along and buckle up because I think this is going to be a great ride!

We are passionate about the Mid-Michigan community and the moms who live here. Our goal is to make this community feel just a little bit smaller. By using both our website, as well as, various social media outlets, we are able to keep you up to date on family-friendly activities around town, provide advice on motherhood, and encourage each of you to get out and explore all that our wonderful area has to offer!
