10 Mug Desserts You Need to Make with Your Little Ones!

I was scrolling on TikTok the other day when I came across a girl making Mug Desserts. I was SHOCKED that I had never seen this before and I wanted to make every single dessert I could get my hands on! Like move out of the way Gordon Ramsay, this mom is bringing the ‘new’ cool way to bake!

Mug DessertMaybe I am late to the party and these have been around for a while {story of my life}, but here is a little nudge from your sweets obsessed momma to get out of the box. Make something you normally wouldn’t before!

These mug desserts are the perfect serving size for you and your little one. And then when your kids aren’t looking, you make another one for yourself. Don’t worry, I won’t tell. Need more convincing? You don’t have to deal with excess leftovers or worry about making a mess. The biggest measuring cup I used with one recipe was 1/4 cup.

All this sounds amazing, right? I love these mug desserts on a cold winter night or a Friday when you are probably watching Frozen for the millionth time. It is perfect to grab a mug, cuddle under a blanket on the couch, and enjoy some yummy goodness.

Want to make this experience a teaching moment? Having your kids bake mug desserts {under mommy’s supervision of course} can really help with their hand-eye coordination, reading numbers, especially fractions, and allows them to have a little independence.

WARNING: Your partner may or may not crash mommy and kid time for their own scoop of goodness. When I made mug desserts for an Instagram takeover for Mid-Michigan Moms, my husband rushed from his basement office sprinting upstairs to the kitchen for his own bite.
