We are thrilled to present Bloom: An Event for New & Expecting Moms on May 25, 2017 at the lovely Captain’s Club at Woodfield from 6pm – 9pm. Bloom is specifically for women who are currently expecting, thinking about trying or who have had a baby in the past year. It doesn’t matter if you’re on your first baby or your third – Bloom is for you! This national event will take place in over 55 cities nationwide throughout the month of May. As you’re preparing for your little one to enter the world, do you find yourself left with several questions? Maybe you’re wondering what products you need? Who’s going to help you? Entering into motherhood is such an exciting time, but we know that it often leads to lots of questions, too. Enter Hurley Medical Center, and their unparalleled level of expertise. Hurley Medical Center is committed to women and babies and is recognized as the area’s undisputed leader in caring for them. Almost 3,000 babies are born at Hurley every year, and their team of obstetricians, maternal fetal medicine specialists and neonatologists {specialists in sick or premature newborns} are there to help make the birth of your baby a pleasant, safe experience for you, your family members and your newborn. With the region’s only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Hurley is ready if a premature or very sick infant is born at Hurley Medical Center or is transferred there from another hospital. They also have the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatric Emergency Department, and Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine. We are thrilled to partner with Hurley for this event! Around 7pm we will be introducing you to a panel of experts, including Hurley professionals, who will go over all things motherhood. We encourage and welcome you learn more about the Hurley panelists, and their areas of expertise! There will be time for Q + A so come prepared with your questions.

Dr. Sierra Cuthpert is a Flint native and an OB-GYN. She is a provider at The Hurley OB-GYN Clinic, and sees and delivers patients at Hurley Medical Center, the region’s only Children’s Hospital, Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit and the area’s highest level NICU (Level III).
